What countries have U.S. travel advisories?

There are some countries to which the US government has clearly denied you travel as they want their citizens to be safe and do not want to compromise their security. These countries that hold the level 4 travel advisory from the US are the Central African Republic, Myanmar, Gaza, Haiti, Iran, Iraq,  Yemen, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Libya, Mali, Mexico, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Afghanistan. The US government has an advisory for Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank as these areas are not safe and are surrounded by bombs and attacks, so it is definitely not safe to plan travel to these countries. The travelers are also asked to follow the instructions of emergency and security strictly to maintain a safe space for themselves. 

What countries are on the do not travel list in 2025?

These countries have some major issues and conflicts that are putting them a country at risk. The list of countries that should be avoided when it comes to traveling has been given below: 

  • Bangladesh: The country is recently encountering, protests, civil unrest, crime, and even terrorism, it will not be safe to travel. 
  • Afghanistan: The situation in Afghanistan is tense with civil unrest, terrorism, and kidnapping; as of now, the country should be avoided for a trip. 
  • Belarus: The conflict in Ukraine and the presence of Russian Military Forces affect Belarus and make it unsafe to travel. 
  • Myanmar: Violence and crime are happening in the country with civil unrest, which is spreading more hate and unrest in the country. 
  • Burkina Faso: Crime, Kidnapping, and Terrorist attacks are happening in the country. 
  • Gaza: The country is under attack by Israel, which has been going on for months. Half of the population has been displaced, and others have died; it is not safe to travel.
